About
I’m an interior architect and architectural photographer based just outside Düsseldorf, Germany. Alongside my work as Creative Director at one of Germany’s leading agencies for spatial communication and interior design, I founded my photography business to create thoughtful, precise imagery of architecture and interior spaces.
Working at the intersection of architecture, CGI and visual communication has shaped my understanding of space, light and atmosphere for more than two decades. Throughout my career in interior design and visual communication, my work has been widely published and has received numerous national and international design awards.
It was during my studies of architecture and interior design at the Peter Behrens School of Arts in Düsseldorf that I developed a lasting fascination with buildings and spaces. What began with creating virtual representations of buildings gradually evolved into photography, as my interest shifted from visualising spaces to capturing them through the lens.
As an architectural photographer, I work with architects, designers, PR agencies and creative studios to produce images that communicate architecture with clarity, precision and atmosphere.
Philosophy
Architectural sensitivity, artistic vision and technical precision shape my work. It is objective and observational – often close and immersive, always clear and authentic, with a strong focus on light and structure. To me, architectural photography is about seeing light, lines, perspective and composition; observing how people move through a space, or the silence created by their absence. It is about capturing the tangible atmosphere of a place, paying close attention to detail and understanding the position of a building within its wider urban context.

I have long been fascinated by the influence our built environment has on the way we feel, perceive and experience the world. Through photography, I seek to encourage a fresh perspective on everyday surroundings, revealing beauty in the ordinary and inviting people to see places in a new light. This approach is reflected in some of my personal projects, which focus on transitional, often superficially banal spaces.
